Tonight a dark dark night

You really surprised me and Nai Nai last night! I was carrying you in my arms and looking out from Nai Nai's room window. Suddenly, Auntie Leni switched off the lights in the kitchen and everything outside became so dark in a sudden.

You started to say: "Tonight a dark dark night!"

My dear boy, you really give me such a big surprise!!! I love you so much

Second Week@ Zoo Phonics

Sorry, Mummy was too busy at Cantonment House and didn't manage to record your first day at school. You really really surprised me and everyone else in the house.

You started school on 9 Jan 2012 at Zoo Phonics. But you didn't at all. When I said Bye to you. you can still tell me Bye and wave me goodbye! The next four days went passed peacefully. I will drop you off in the class. You will tell me Bye and I will pick you up after class.

Then, on 13 January, something happened. Maybe you wasn't in a good mood that day. When I dropped you in the class, I lingered for a while. Then I happened to see you and your friend snatching a toy. I intervened and told you to share. You saw me and cried really badly. I went to comfort you but it didnt make things better.

Then you took your bag and told me to go to the car. Gosh... I told Daddy about this and he was sooo PROUD of you. Daddy said you are sooo young but you really have character. Haha, he is so proud to have a son like you.

When I know I can't manage you, I passed you back to your teacher. Of course, you tried to open the door of the classroom. Of course, it was locked and you were so upset and kept crying. You refused to sit down thus you stood there for about 15 to 20 mins looking at the teacher Diana. Thereafter, you realised your legs are tired. So you sat down but still refused to put your bag away. Your bag was in front of you all these while.

Then you remember I gave you a stick of cheeese. So you were searching for it and teacher Diana helped you to open it. So even though it was not time to have your snack, you were eating away while listening to your teacher teach.

From second week onwards, you will whine and cry abit everytime I dropped you off at school. But you will stop whenever I walked out of your sight or when something captured your attention. On Friday (20/1), it was the first time of this week, you didnt cry when I walked away. On friday, I didnt tell you bye. Instead, I told you... I see you later after class. You continued playing with your toys and didnt whine a single bit.

Nevertheless, Mummy and everyone else are really surpried and proud of you. I remember your Phoebe Jie Jie cried for almost a month before she finally settled down in school. You are really very very well behaved in your new school. Though it was your first time going to an independent class, you adapted very well. Great Job, Den Den!!!

School Searching Time

This morning, Nai Nai, Jie Jie and me brought you along to two school near our house at cantonment. First stop was at Mulberry at Tanjong Pagar. I love the layout, cleanliness of the school. The best part is they have an indoor sandplay, waterplay and mini gym. You and Jie Jie were happily playing in the school and it makes me happy.

I just learnt that we can go for the trial class before signing up. So waiting for confirmation from daddy. If possible, it will be tomorrow or next.

Dun Need

You have started to use "Dun need" for many things for the past few days. When you are asked, do u want to "shishi", you answer "Dun need". Do you want this? "Dun need" You are really funny and makes everyone so happy

On the other hand, you are really tough to handle. The way you snatches things from your jie jie, I really wanna faint. I really hope this is a growing phase for you and you will change as times goes by.
You are already 1 year and 7 mths old. Phew, time really flies
